The bid amount for the contract including 9% sales tax is $296,209.68. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's £t Con's: Two bids were opened during the BoCC Public session on May 16, 2016. Based on review of costs and qualifications of the low bidder, the most qualified and responsive low bidder has been selected. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: This work is included in the authorized project budget. The low bid was approximately 7.2% above the Engineer's estimate of $276,197.23. Recommendation: The Board is asked to sign the Recommendation of Award of Contract where indicated, and return the one (1) signed original to Public Works.
