Scheduled for Monday, August 22, 2016 (NOTE: A Special Meeting will
be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners'
Chambers)
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Review notice to cancel County Commissioner Regular Meeting; Scheduled for Monday, August 22, 2016.
Notice will be published in the Leader on August 17, 2016 and posted on the County website. A Special
Meeting will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016.
Two (2) County Commissioners will be out of the office and therefore will not be a quorum to hold the
August 22, 2016 meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve notice to cancel County Commissioner Regular Meeting; Scheduled for Monday, August 22, 2016.
A Special Meeting will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 and Regular BOCC meetings will resume on
Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.

NOTICE OF
MEETING CANCELLATION
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has cancelled their regularly scheduled meeting
for Monday, August 22, 2016. (NOTE: A Special Meeting will be held on Monday, August 29,
2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers) The regular meeting schedule will be
resumed on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Meetings are held the first four Mondays of each
month at 9:00 a.m.
