Approval of Agenda: Agenda was revised and approved with change. Approval of Minutes: Meeting minutes from Dec. 7th, 2016 approved. DIRECTOR UPDATES 12:30 – Charnas Discusses efforts to create consistent administrative support for the Planning Commission. Briefs the commission on newly expected protocol with email communication. COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCEMENTS None DISSCUSSION 25:57 Commission members and staff discuses correspondence received to the Planning Commission email and how there will be a new list provided every month of all email or hard copy communications sent to the Planning Commission. Comprehensive Pan Visioning/Values Discussion 54:40 – Peterson Presents to the Planning Commission examples and advice on how to draft a vision/introductory portion of the Comprehensive Plan. Explains that the Comprehensive Plan introduction should reflect Jefferson County and give a vision into what makes Jefferson County unique. This Vision Statement/Introduction should also reflect the results of public outreach and public feedback on the Comprehensive Plan update. 1:20:05 Commission members and staff begin the open discussion of ideas and values they would like to see incorporated into the Comprehensive Plan Vision.
