Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Pavement markings require annual evaluation, refurbishing and/or replacement. Approval of this Call for Bids will allow for procurement of pavement marking services for calendar year 2017. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: Contracted pavement marking services are accounted for in the Public Works Road Operations Budget for 2017. The Engineers Estimate for this project is $223,459.48. Recommendation: The Department of Public Works recommends the Board approve the call for bids for these services, and authorize the Chair to sign the attached `Call for Bids' where indicated, and return it to the Department of Public Works for publication. Department Contact: Dale Seward, Eng -1, 385-9353 Reviewed By: ef -- t Philip Morley,un 'A ministrato� Date NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CALL FOR BIDS Pavement Marking on Jefferson County Roads for Calendar Year 2017 County Project No. 18020260 Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, WA, will receive sealed bids for Pavement Marking on Jefferson County Roads up until the hour of 9:30 a.m on Monday, February 27, 2017, at the Office of the Commissioners, basement level of the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St, P O Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA, 98368 The sealed bids will be opened and read publicly at 10 00 a m or shortly thereafter on the same day in the Commissioners Chambers, basement level of the County Courthouse This bid is for a 1 -year contract to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete specified pavement marking on Jefferson County roads in calendar year 2017, all in accordance with the Contract Plans and Provisions and the 2016 Edition of the WA State Dept of Transportation Standard Specifications The Engineers Estimate for this contract is $223,460.00.
