ACE -IT provides high school transition students with developmental disabilities, an opportunity to work as interns in competitive employment positions within the Fort Worden PDA. Through these internships, the young adults learn employability skills to prepare them for a productive adult life. Jefferson County Public Health, Developmental Disabilities Program, will submit a quarterly invoice for each student participating in the ACE -IT Program, along with their name, age and gender; OlyCAP will remit separate checks for each student within 30 days of receipt of the invoice. FISCAL IMPACT COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: There is no fiscal impact. Funds are transferred from OlyCAP to participants in the ACE -IT program. Project Mentor, a program of OIyCAP's RSVP Program, serves young adults living with disabilities by supporting significant job training experiences. Achieving Community Employment in Transition, (ACE -IT) is a program of the Port Townsend School District, Special Ed Department in partnership with the PDA of Fort Worden and Jefferson County Public Health, the Developmental Disabilities Program. ACE -IT provides high school transition students with developmental disabilities, an opportunity to work as interns in competitive employment positions within the Fort Worden PDA. The Plan: RSVP Project Mentor, through OIyCAP, will provide stipends for a total of $3,840 for ACE -IT participants on quarterly basis, during their internship. The Developmental Disabilities Program, will submit a quarterly invoice for each student participating in the ACE -IT Program, along with their name, age and gender. OlyCAP will remit separate checks for each student within 30 days of receipt of the invoice. Four students are participating in the ACE -IT Program during the school year of 2016-2017. With two quarters left, at $120 a stipend, the subtotal would be $960.00. Eight students will be participating in the ACE -IT Program during the school year of 2017-2018. With 3 quarters at $120 a stipend, for a subtotal of $2,880. This MOU begins March 1, 2017 and goes until June 15, 2018.
