This is an optional time period dedicated to listening to the public. We want to hear your ideas or concerns. To
ensure equal opportunity for the public to comment, all comments shall be limited to three minutes per person
and each person may address the Board one time during the public comment period. When the green light is on
it means proceed to speak; the yellow light will go on when the speaker has 30 seconds remaining; the red light
illuminated means stop. Please start by stating your name and address.
APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA: (Items listed below have been
distributed to the Commissioners in advance for study and will be enacted by one motion. If separate discussion is desired on
an item, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda, at a specific time, at the
request of any of the Commissioners.)
1. AGREEMENT re: Emergency Management Director; In the Amount of $75,509.16 per
Year plus Benefits; Jefferson County Administrator; Lynn Sterbenz
2. AGREEMENT, Change Order No. 3 re: Undie Road Surfacing Project No. 18020070;
A Reduction of $11,058.27 for a Total Amount of $916,446.42; Jefferson County Public
Works; Interwest Construction, Inc.
3. AGREEMENT re: Undie Road Bypass; DNR FR-F 4200 and 4210 Road Surfacing,
Project No. 18020070; In the Amount $78,025; Jefferson County Public Works;
Interwest Construction, Inc.
4. AGREEMENT re: 2016 Community Services Grant Funding; In the Amount of $4,766;
Jefferson County Administrator; Jefferson County Fair Association
5. Allocation Request re: Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Funding for 2017;
Jefferson County 1/10th of 1%Funds, (Hargrove Funds); $433,265.71

6. Appointment to Fill a vacancy on the Port Ludlow Drainage District Governing Body;
Donald E. Forbes to Serve the Remainder of a Six (6) Year Term Until the Next Special
District General Election in February, 2018
7. Payment of Jefferson County Vouchers/Warrants Dated November 21, 2016 Totaling
$763,661.44 (Records of all claims submitted for payment along with vouchers approved and signed by the
Board of Jefferson County Commissioners are retained by the Jefferson County Auditor and Public Works
Department.)
8. Payment of Jefferson County Payroll Warrants Dated November 18, 2016 Totaling
$63,686.70 and A/P Warrants Done by Payroll Dated November 18, 2016 Totaling
$18,780.70 (Records of all claims submitted for payment along with A/P Warrants approved by the Payroll
Services Manager are retained in the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office.)
