He will beattending the Dosewallips Park Sewer Projectmeeting in Brinnon and the Jefferson CountyChamber meeting where the CountyAdministrator will be conducting a presentationon Proposition 1. He will be touring the ClallamCounty Detention Center this week and will betouring Kitsap County Detention Center in thenext couple of weeks. He attended a change ofcommand ceremony on Indian Island last week.Commissioner Johnson said last week heattended a meeting of the Port TownsendSchool of Fine Woodworking, also called theHistoric Preservation Technologies last week.The Timber Framers conference will be held atFort Worden this year and the Awardsceremony for the Hood Canal CoordinatingCouncil will be held on Nov. 5 at Fort Worden.The Environmental Protection Agency hasawarded state agencies about $12 million torestore the Puget SoundCommissioner Sullivan stated there is ameeting at the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe onOct. 28th regarding renewable energy and hewill also be attending the Joint Growthmanagement Steering Committee meeting onthe same day; he will be attending an economicdevelopment strategy meeting with the City onThursday. HEARING: DISCUSSION AND APPROVAL:RESOLUTION NO. 45-10 re: 2011-2016 SixYear Transportation Improvement Plan Letter of Support: The Board approved andsigned a letter of support for Geologic MappingEnhancement to Washington State Departmentof Natural Resources, Division of Geology andEarth Resources (DGER)
