comments made by citizens in attendance at the meeting and
reflect their personal opinions:
• A citizen commented on a Consent Agenda item re: Nurse visits
for children ages birth to three years;
• A citizen urgently requested that the Board finalize the Animal
Responsibility Ordinance;
• Two (2) citizens voiced concern regarding the recent finding
Jefferson County received as a result of an audit conducted by
the Washington State Auditor’s Office. One citizen requested a
formal report on how this issue will be resolved;
• Two (2) citizens urged the Board to make the connection
between the Larry Scott Trail and the Olympic Discovery Trail, a
higher priority;
• Two (2) citizens voiced concern regarding the Fager Trial and
the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team (OPNET);
and
• A citizen stated the Planning Commission and the Department
of Community Development (DCD) are both lacking the
manpower to work on the Comprehensive Plan Amendment
Cycle.

2021 Six‐Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP).

COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR BRIEFING: The Board discussed the
