HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-11-16 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: The following is a summary of comments made by citizens in attendance at the meeting and reflect their personal opinions: • A citizen commented on the recent Hood Canal Bridge failure and how important it is to our infrastructure; • A citizen commented on a recent disaster preparedness planning event; • Two citizens commented on fire hazard mitigation around homes; and • The Chair of the Planning Commission stated they have completed their letter of recommendation and requested it be read into the record. CONSENT AGENDA: The Board deleted and later approved Consent Agenda Items No. 12 & 13; AGREEMENT re: Forest Assessment and Mediation Technical Support; American Forest Management and Port Ludlow Associates; and AGREEMENT re: Forest Management Plan; American Forest Management and Port Ludlow Associates. Request for Full Reconveyance re: Water Pollution Control Loan, Parcel 801174009; Jefferson County Public Health; Susan Sandaine Payment of Jefferson County Payroll Warrants Dated July 5, 2016 Totaling $822,916.01 and A/P Warrants Done by Payroll Dated July 5, 2016 Totaling $788,555.01 HEARING re: 2016 Conservation Futures Funding Applications: After hearing testimony the Board approved the following declaration of Conservation Futures Funds: RESOLUTION NO. 27-16 Quimper Wildlife Corridor Addition Project; 2) RESOLUTION NO. 28-16 Big Quilcene River – Moon Valley Reach Project; 3) RESOLUTION NO. 29-16 Irondale Beach County Park Additions; and 4) RESOLUTION NO. 30-16 Tarboo Creek, Farm and Forest Project. BID OPENING: Three bids were received and read aloud for the Construction of Undie Road Emergency Relocation Project, County Road NO. 150009, County Project NO. 180-2007-0. Staff will review the bids and make a recommendation for bid award to the Board a later date. COMMISSIONERS’ BRIEFING SESSION: The Commissioners reported on their meeting schedules.
