PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: The following is a summary of
comments made by citizens in attendance at the meeting and
reflect their personal opinions:
• Two citizens commented on the volume of traffic which
passes through Jefferson County and suggested the
Commissioners do something to keep those travelers in
Jefferson County and generate tax revenue;
• A citizen commented on immigrants in the United States and
discussed the need for low income housing;

DISCUSSION & APPROVAL: After discussion with Public Health

Amendment No. 1 re: Salish Behavioral Health Organization
Change in Membership with Kitsap County, Clallam County and
Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe
COMMISSIONERS’ BRIEFING SESSION: The Commissioners
reported on their meeting schedules.
BRIEFING: Public Works staff gave a presentation to the Board
on the 2017-2022 Six-Year Transportation Improvement
Program.
COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR BRIEFING: The Board reviewed
their calendars for the upcoming week.
