HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-01-17 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: The following is a summary of comments made by individuals in attendance at the meeting and reflect their personal opinions: • An individual thanked the Commissioners and County staff for addressing her geoduck harvesting concerns in Squamish Harbor. She also stated she is impressed with all the County issues the Commissioners handle; • An individual from the Jeffco Aquatic Coalition informed the Board of their activities, fundraisers and events; • 11 individuals voiced comments/concerns regarding a proposed marijuana processing business on Marrowstone Island; • An individual stated: 1) He participated in a cleanup of a homeless site; and 2) The County needs jobs, self-sufficiency and the ability to prepare for bad economic times; • An individual stated that the Brinnon Community Center needs to be re-roofed so that the hotel portion of the building can be used again; and • An individual suggested that the Department of Community Development scan documents as they are received to increase efficiency.
