Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: This project is a pavement preservation project and includes Hot Mix Asphalt overlay of Center Rd between mile post 0.00 and 2.26. It also includes replacing an existing culvert, installation traffic lane markings, and installation of recessed pavement markers. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The Engineer's Estimate is $773,559 for the construction contract. Construction will be funded at 90% by the County Roads Administration Board with matching funds provided by the Public Infrastructure Fund (PIF). Recommendation: The Board is requested to witness the public bid opening and direct Public Works to review the bids and make a recommendation for award at a later date. Department Contact: Bruce D.
