HomeMy WebLinkAbout03 04-24-17 Comment Letters tO \I.01,4(..- To the County of Jefferson,Washington State Planning Commission Associate Planner Patrick Hopper This is to follow up on my call in to your office today about the proposed "Marijuana Farm and Processing Plant" at 9272 Flagler Rd, Marrowstone Island. Most(if not all)of us here on Marrowstone Island were not made aware of this operation until reading about it in last Wednesday's PT Leader,or from concerned neighbors on our Marrowstone Island Nextdoor on the days following. I,with other of my neighbors have concerns about the size of this operation, and it's effects on our island and the environment.We had the same concerns a few years ago when we attended meetings when a similar operation was proposed for Gybe Ho Rd. I would also like to express my concerns about what seems to me and others here as a surreptitious introduction of this enterprise. Please respond and help us to get a hearing to be able to voice our concerns and to get some answers. His given address is 126 SW 148th Street, Suite C 100-228,Seattle.This is actually a Safeway mini-mall in Burien. He is also the"owner",according to state records, of 3-D Diagnostics, LLC, of Lacey, Wa.and New Review Properties, LLC,Vancouver, WA.A quick Google search turns up absolutely nothing about either of those businesses. She said there was a zoning issue. It wasn't a greenhouse operation...She said stunk like skunk...Cameras and lighting...But she said the worst was the constant state helicopter fly over that did the air surveillance...And always had to call the sheriff because they played music for the plants... Seriously they said it helped with growth.. " \:Jok per.
