I oppose an operation for growing marijuana on Marrowstone Island without at least a public hearing on
the proposal, so we residents can learn of potential impact.
Thank you.

Hello,
I'd like you to know that as a Marrowstone Island resident, I believe that the marijuana growing facility
does NOT belong on Marrowstone! Please stop it from happening.
Thanks,Jillian Grey
Dear Mr. Hopper,
I have been living on Marrowstone Island since 1977. Like other residents of Marrowstone, I appreciate
the rural and unique atmosphere that we enjoy on the island. In order to preserve this wonderful
quality of life, in the 1970's island residents formed the Marrowstone Island Citizens Planning
Committee and worked with the Jefferson County Planning Department to develop the Marrowstone
Island Community Development Plan. This plan was approved by the Jefferson County Commissioners
in 1978. I am attaching the first and last pages of the plan and pages 17 and 18 which pertain to
"Commerce and Industry." The proposed Marijuana Production and Process business clearly violates
the first four policy criteria listed on page 18.
I request that there be a public hearing about this. °NCl/Respectfully,

Hello - I am a resident of a Marrowstone Island &oppose an off island owner creating a business on our
island. The property is near Fort Flagler so will increase traffic all along Flagler Rd. Our island is not the
place for this business. I vote NO to this development& if they want to move forward we want a
personal public comment time.Thank you!
Sincerely,

We are a close community of islanders and protective of our surroundings. Word is circulating that the
owners of the marijuana farm are not residents but off-island people who are locating in a wooded area

to grow a product that is legalized statewide but not by the Federal government. For the benefit of our
community I am against having a marijuana growing farm located on our small island. It may be the
right of the owners to do what they want on their land but should there be a fire in their growing
hutches the air would be polluted in the community and the islanders' health and welfare would be at
stake.
We oppose the marijuana farm on the island.
