Subject: Marijuana farm
We are a close community of islanders and protective of our surroundings. Word is circulating that the owners of the
marijuana farm are not residents but off-island people who are locating in a wooded area to grow a product that is
legalized statewide but not by the Federal government. For the benefit of our community I am against having a
marijuana growing farm located on our small island. It may be the right of the owners to do what they want on their
land but should there be a fire in their growing hutches the air would be polluted in the community and the islanders'
health and welfare would be at stake.
We oppose the marijuana farm on the island.
