Thank you for the project notice. ORCAA has the following comments for the applicant: TYpcQ
Greetings,
As a new class of business with the potential to emit air pollutants or odors, marijuana
grow/production operations are required to register as a stationary source of air pollution with
Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA). ORCAA has the responsibility to enforce local, state,
and federal clean air laws and regulations throughout its six-county jurisdiction. As a member of this
new registered class, your business falls within ORCAA's regulatory authority. I've attached the
necessary registration forms you'll need to comply with the clean air regulations.
Pursuant to the State Clean Air Act under Chapter 70.94.151 of the Revised Code of Washington,
and in accordance with local regulations of ORCAA, stationary sources of air pollution are required to
register annually with ORCAA.
Initial registration of your facility will involve submitting technical information, and certain operational
information (see attached form). Subsequent annual registration will involve periodic inspection of
your facility by ORCAA and payment of an annual registration fee.
A registration information form is attached. Please complete this and mail it back to ORCAA within 30
days from this notice. Mail to ORCAA Registration, 2940 Limited Lane NW, Olympia, WA 98502,
or email to infoRorcaa.orq. For clarification or assistance in filling out the forms, please contact
either Debbie Moody, (360) 539-7610, ext. 114, or Aaron Manley, (360) 539-7610, ext. 104.
