Emergency Damage Repair: If the work is to repair a roof damaged by sudden, unforeseen events such as
storm damage, roofing permits will be issued over the counter for minor repairs. Rebuild involving structural

Estimate is for(1) layer of roofing material, if there are additional layers, please add $73 per sq.
2. Repair, if any, damaged wood at an additional charge of$73 per man hour, plus material cost.
3. Install ice guard around skylights,around chimney, in valleys and at all penetrations.
4. Install a SafeGuard 30 Hybrid underlayment.

Dear George:
Thank you for the opportunity to complete your roofing project. The following information will help guide you
through the permitting process. We advocate starting the process early, and generally it is recommended that the
permit is acquired immediately after signing the estimate. Once this is established, HOPE will need a copy
emailed or faxed to our office. Please note that we cannot start your roofing project without this documentation.
The following information is required to file your permit.
1.Number of roofing squares: 31.5
2. A signed copy of your estimate.
3. Parcel# (Please refer to your home ownership documents).
Your permit will need to be displayed on the from of your home (required). You will not need the exact dates of
when the work will be completed, as the permit will be open for 6 months to a year,depending on location.
Upon completion of your project, you will need to contact the permitting office for an inspection, and to close
out your permit.
