MINUTES
Tuesday, December 4, 2007
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by John Austin, County Commissioner, District 43. On
roll call the following members were present: Bill Tennent, Jaime Hodgson, Debi Bainbridge, Joy
Baisch and John Austin. The following guests were also present: Dan Youra, Bill Roney, Kitti
DeLong, Kathie Sharp and John Fischbach. John Fischbach, County Administrator, began the
meeting by expressing thanks to Bill Roney from a phone call he had received from Roger Hanke
from Redmond who had slid into the ditch in front of the visitor center during Monday's snow
storm. Mr. Hanke said that he and his wife were extremely thankful to Bill Roney for the kindness
and assistance he provided to them while stuck. Mr. Hanke summarized by saying that "Mr. Roney
is really nice."
The minutes of October 11, 2007 were moved for approval by John Austin and seconded by Debi
Bainbridge. The vote was unanimous.
John Fischbach reviewed the Hotel/Motel Lodging Tax monthly receipts for the month of October,
2007, noting that receipts in October of 2007 totaled $40,711 as compared to $30,420 in October,
2006. An increase of $10,291 or 33.83%. The year to date collections show an increase of 7.57%
($16,402) and total $233,007 to date.
The next agenda item included "Budget Considerations" and "Review of Budget Requests." The
following budget requests were reviewed and voted on by the LTAC. The Board agreed to have
discussion and a motion on each request as noted below:

There being no other business the meeting was adjourned on a motion by John Austin, seconded
by Debi Bainbridge which passed unanimously.
