Concrete in the lid/ garage floor shall be sprinkled or otherwise kept cool and moist during curing for the first 7 days, and under lid support to be left in place until concrete reaches 3000 psi strength. Slab on grade shall be constructed as follows 4 inches of compacted crushed rock shall be placed over undisturbed bearing soil, then covered with 6 mil visqueen and 2 inches of compacted sand Sand shall be thoroughly wetted prior to pouring. 6. All concrete shall be reinforced. All reinforcing steel shall be deformed billet steel conforming to ASTM A- 615, Grade 40, Fy = 40000 psi, of the size shown on the drawings Reinforcing shall be continuous, laps shall be 27" minimum, stagger all splices.
