PARKS TOUR SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA
Beginning at Chimacum County Park,9635 Rhody Drive, Chimacum, Washington
End at Chimacum County Park, 9635 Rhody Drive, Chimacum, Washington
October 17, 2017,9am to 2:30pm
Tour Goals:
• To become more familiar with, and increase knowledge and understanding of our parks and
recreation system.
• To document the current condition of the parks using photographs and a written park
evaluation sheet.
• To meet staff and volunteers where possible,to encourage them in their efforts,and
understand the challenges they face.
• To update the JCPRAB capital improvement plan by assessing the current condition of capital
facilities and resources, identifying new projects, looking at the status of existing projects, and
making modifications where needed.
• To gather community input from members of the public that are met along the course of the
tour.
• To highlight the parks system in the local media.
• To communicate the findings of the tour to the BoCC and the community.
To utilize all the above information in updating the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space
Comprehensive Plan (PROS).
