1) HMA mobilization;
2) Quarry Spall for retaininge wall foundation;
3) Quarry spall for geosynthetic slope foundaiton;
4) Soil residual herbicide under HMA at Station 89+87 to 108+00 and 1+15 to 2+13;
5) Retaining wall shop drawings from Hilfiker;
6) Drainage system at Station 99+10 to 102+20 and 111+00, 12' of 18" concrete culvert;
7) 30" flex coupling at Station 119+50, 40' of 12" HDPE culvert at Station 90+95, Locate Century Link cables at
Station 125+00 to 128+00, 2' tall quarry spall wall at Station 116+94 to 117+04;
8) Soil residual herbicide under HMA at Station 107+50 to 128+72; Berm & marker posts at trail end at Old
Gardiner Road;
9) Remove trail soft spots, replace with CSBC;
10) Fence Type 6- 2 @ 3' gates and 12' opening to access culverts.
All work materials and measurement to be in accordance with the provisions of the standard specifications and
special provisions for the type of construction involved.

Olympic Discovery Trail, S. Discovery Bay, Segment A- Phase 1 ft2
County Project No. 1801955
Statement of Issue: Authorization of Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $7,402.98
and an additional six (6) working days for the above referenced project.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's ft Con's: Public Works has completed the Olympic
Discovery Trail project in South Discovery Bay, Segment A- Phase 1 Et 2 construction.
Change Order No 1 is necessary to reconcile the final project costs.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: This change order will both increase the total
contract amount by $7,402.98 from $987,654.32 to $995,057.30, and add six (6)
working days. Construction is funded through RCO and Jefferson County, with
additional matching funds previously spent on Discovery Bay restoration by NOSC.
Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board execute all three (3)
Change Order No. 1 and return two signed originals to Public Works for further
processing.
