Subject: JCPRAB Appointment
Statement of Issue:
Amy Yaley applied for the vacant County Commissioner District One seat on the
Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board on October 16, 2017. On
November 1, 2017, the JCPRAB interviewed and unanimously recommended her for
appointment by the BoCC.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's &t Con's:
The JCPRAB fulfills a number of important roles including advising the BoCC, assisting
with the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive Plan, and considering
policy changes.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
A complete and full board is beneficial to fulfilling the mission of the JCPRAB.
Recommendation:
Appoint Amy Yaley to the District One seat on the JCPRAP effective immediately.
