This is an optional time period dedicated to listening to the public. We want to hear your ideas or concerns. To
ensure equal opportunity for the public to comment, all comments shall be limited to three minutes per person
and each person may address the Board one time during the public comment period. When the green light is on
it means proceed to speak; the yellow light will go on when the speaker has 30 seconds remaining; the red light
illuminated means stop. Please start by stating your name and address.
APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA: (Items listed below have been
distributed to the Commissioners in advance for study and will be enacted by one motion. If separate discussion is desired on
an item, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda, at a specific time, at the
request of any of the Commissioners.)
1. RESOLUTION NO. re: Adoption of the 2017/2018 Jefferson County Cost
Allocation Plan
2. AGREEMENT NO. ICA18531 re: 2018 Public Defense Funding; Improving the
Quality of Public Defense Services; In the Amount of $32,792; Jefferson County
Administrator; Washington State Office of Public Defense
3. AGREEMENT re: Jail Services; In the Amount $208,181.60 plus reimbursement costs
in 2018, Base goes up 2.5% in 2019 & 2020; Jefferson County Commissioners, Jefferson
County Sheriff’s Office; City of Port Townsend
4. AGREEMENT re: Demolition & Removal Project Agreement re: 280 Fremont Ave. on
the Big Quilcene River; In the Amount of $ 28,344 plus tax of $2,551 for a Project Total
of $30,895; Jefferson County Environmental Public Health; Diggin’ It!

Project Total Amount of $590,819.80; Jefferson County Public Works; Shold
Excavating, Inc.
6. Payment of Jefferson County Vouchers/Warrants Dated November 20, 2017 Totaling
$309,737.80 (Records of all claims submitted for payment along with vouchers approved and signed by the
Board of Jefferson County Commissioners are retained by the Jefferson County Auditor and Public Works
Department.)
7. Payment of Jefferson County Payroll Warrants Dated November 20, 2017 Totaling
$79,159.67 and A/P Warrants Done by Payroll Dated November 4, 2017 Totaling
$138,994.47 and Dated November 20, 2017 Totaling $17,530.74 (Records of all claims
submitted for payment along with A/P Warrants approved by the Payroll Services Manager are retained in the
Jefferson County Auditor’s Office.)
