Purpose of the meeting: Elect Executive Committee; discuss and re-format Action Plan per
Julee’s recommendations; discuss role of Executive Committee

3:00 – 3:05 Denise
Call meeting to order; approve minutes, and agenda. Chris
moved; Tanya seconded. Motion carried

Election of Officers: Brian MacKenzie, President; Mark
Gudger, Vice-president; Kris Becker, Secretary
3:20 – 4:00 Denise
Denise explained the roles per the By-laws. Denise discussed
with the group the Action Plan and explained how Julee re-
worked it so it is more coherent. The group agreed. Denise
will rewrite the action plan so it’s easier to read, and so the
things we said we are going to do are more easily identified –
almost like a list. This is simply a format change that will aid
us in seeing what we’ve accomplished and what we still need
to do. We discussed implementing a school program and
Brian, and the rest of the group, now understand that Denise
can be the facilitator. We discussed having a program in the
5, 7,8, and 9th grades in a course that fits the existing
curriculum. Denise will send a list of potential programs to
Mark and Brian. Discussion will continue. Dismiss.
Please Note: The January 10th, 2017 meeting of the Chimacum Prevention Coalition will be
held at the Chimacum High School Library from 3:00 – 4:00 PM.

alcohol and other drugs, please join us.
