Board Members Present: Fran Joswick, Mike Phimister, Kay Pownall, Conner Daily, John Austin,
Board Members Absent: Tony Hernandez, Hargopal Boyd, Sam Markow, Mike Evans, Chase Glenn,
Anne Dean, Catharine Robinson, Arnie Danberg, Coleman Riddle, Garin Williams
Staff Present: Ford Kessler, Kelly Matlock

Guests: Jeannette Force, Lois Barnett, Steven Archer
I. Approval of Agenda – M/S/A John Austin/Mike Phimister/All
II. Introductions – Guests Jeannette Force, Lois Barnett and Steven Archer introduced
themselves and stated that their desire to attend the meeting was a result of the recent
death of a friend who died unexpectedly and may have been helped if they had known
what to do for him. Their awareness of substance abuse problems in the community was
heightened as a result of his death.

Jail Relapse Prevention program Fran
Drug Take Back totals Fran/Kay
Kay reported the Police Department took in 40.6 pounds in April and 19.14 pounds in
February. The DEA public take back collected 25.5 pounds.
Fran reported the Sheriff’s Department took in 15 lbs in April.
