Sealevel Bulkhead Builders, the Prime Contractor for the Nealey Bulkhead Project (Project), has developed this TESC to satisfy the request from Jefferson County DCD. Sealevel Bulkhead Builders shall update this TESC throughout the Project so that the written Plan reflects actual site conditions and practices. At a minimum, Sealevel Bulkhead Builders will update this Plan annually. Sealevel Bulkhead Builders shall fully implement this TESC, as accepted and updated, at all times. TESC Plan Elements 1. Responsible Personnel Table 1.1 identifies the name(s), title(s), and contact information for the personnel responsible for implementing and updating the TESC, and for responding to changes in conditions. The Project work: The project will include the installation of new sheet piling bulkhead. B. The site location and boundaries: 351 Pleasant Harbor Rd Brinnon, WA C. The drainage pathways from the site: See Table 2 D. Nearby waterways and sensitive areas and their distances from the site: See Table 2 Sealevel Bulkhead Builders I Nealey Bulkhead Project TESC Table 2 Nearby Waterways' and Sensitive Areas2 Waterway' or Distance from Direction of Flow Runoff Drainage Pathway Sensitive Areae Project Site from Project Site from Site Hood Canal I In Tide Dependent Yes Notes: ' Waterways include streams, creeks, sloughs, rivers, Puget Sound, etc. 2 Sensitive areas are areas that typically contain populations that could be particularly sensitive to a hazardous materials spill or release. Such areas include wetlands, areas that provide habitat for threatened or endangered species, nursing homes, hospitals, child care centers, etc. Sensitive areas also include areas where groundwater is used for drinking water, such as wellhead protection zones and sole source aquifer recharge areas. 3. Potential Erosion: During Construction Since the project is scheduled to be completed during typical dry season, erosion and sediment concerns are low for during construction. The Best Management Practices (BMP's) that will be implemented as needed during construction will include, but are not limited to the following: • Construction Access: Straw bales, silt fencing • Cut slopes/exposed soils: Silt fencing, straw bales • Staging areas: Silt fencing, straw bales • Material stockpiles: Plastic cover and secured, silt fencing Should a forecast predict inclement weather, preventative BMP's, such as those listed above, will be installed as needed. 4. Potential Erosion: After Construction Permanent erosion control includes the installation of jute matting on any areas of the site where vegetation is damaged/removed and/or the placement of grass seed/native plants. Any requirements from the geotechnical engineer will be met. Sealevel Bulkhead Builders I Nealey Bulkhead Project TESC 0"
