Analysis/Strategic Goals: The Board issued a Call for Bids for the above materials on January 22, 2018. Bid invitations have been duly advertised in accordance with competitive bidding requirements. Fiscal Impact: The purchase cost of materials for Bituminous Surface Treatment is included in the Department of Public Works' budgets for Road Operations in calendar years 2018 through 2020. Recommendation: The Board is requested to have the submitted bids opened and read publicly, and have the Public Works Department review and check the received bids, and then provide recommendations for award to the Board at a later date.
