Subject: Bid Opening; 10:00 A.M. for
Supply of Aggregate Products for County Bituminous Surface Treatment
(BST) Programs
Statement of Issue:
A request to publicly open and read submitted bids at 10:00 A.M., or shortly thereafter, as
indicated in the CALL FOR BIDS for the 2018-2019 Supply of Aggregate Products for County
BST programs.
Analysis/Strategic Goals:
The Board issued a Call for Bids for the above materials on February 5, 2018. Bid invitations
have been duly advertised in accordance with competitive bidding requirements.
Fiscal Impact:
Purchase of aggregate products for County BST Programs is accounted for in the Department
of Public Works Budgets for Road Operations in calendar years 2018 and 2019.
Recommendation:
The Board is requested to have submitted bids opened and read publicly, and have the
Public Works Department review and check the received bids, and then provide
recommendations for further actions to the Board at a later date.
