FOCUS GROUP NOTES:
Purpose is to seek youth and parent input on coalition activities, image, and participation, and
their perspective on alcohol and marijuana.
Group participants:
Brian can help organize participation of a cross-section of high school students.
Justine can help organize participation of adults in recovery community (including
parents).
Second youth focus group possibly could include middle school students at Teen Center

Format:
Each focus group meeting would have a facilitator and note-taker.

responses, along w/ verbal:
o Flip-charting/posters
o Jot pads – anonymous responses in a hat or basket
o Discussion/probing questions
o Preference surveys
