RE: Request for Board of County Commissioners approval of an amendment to our
existing license agreement with AV Capture ALL to add a Judicial combination
license for Superior Court.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Superior Court makes occasional use of the Commissioners Chambers for court proceedings. Since we are
upgrading the technology in the Commissioners Chambers Superior Court needs a Judicial license with AV Capture
ALL in order to use the new technology.
ANALYSIS:
When we entered in the original licensing agreement with AV Capture ALL we believed that Superior Court could
use the technology because their use is minimal and sporadic. We have since determined that any use of the system
by Superior Court requires a separate Judicial license. Since we already have a Legislative license we can obtain a
Judicial combination license at a 50% discount.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Cost of the discounted Judicial combination license is $600 per year, an amount that can by covered with existing
Trial Court Improvement Fund budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the AV Capture ALL license amendment adding a Judicial combination license.

AMENDMENT
ORIGINAL AGREEMENT - AV Capture ALL — 020518
AV Capture All, Inc., hereinafter called "Licensor", and Jefferson County, WA, hereinafter called
"Subscriber," agree to amend agreement "AV Capture ALL -020518," as set forth below under "Terms of
Amendment".
TERMS OF AMENDMENT: Licensor will provide Subscriber with an additional Judicial Combo license under
the same terms of the existing agreement. The price of the new combo license will be $50/Mo, discounted
from $99/Mo, and will be added to the existing subscription price. The combo license is to be installed
on the shared Recording PC in the Council Chambers.
All other terms and conditions of the original contract shall remain in effect.
