HomeMy WebLinkAbout13 1214 92ORDINANCE NO. _ld~.~?d~-92 AN ORDINANCE JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FEE SCHEDULE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, FOOD, AND NURSING SERVICES AN ORDINANCE CHANGING AND SETFING FEES CHARGED BY THE JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION SERVICES AS FOLLOWS: The Jefferson County Health Department costs for the provision of services have risen and in order to meet those higher costs the following changes and additions are proposed to the fee schedule for Health Department Services: ON SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL A. MEDICAL/NURSING SERVICES The Health Department Community Health Nursing Fee Schedule be set at the same amount, to the nearest higher dollar, as the fee schedule currently reimbursable by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services for Medicaid clients. The Health Department will offer fees based on the sliding scale schedule to clients who are not on Medicaid. No client will be turned away due to inability to pay. All fees for immunizations not subsidized by the Washington State Department of Health will be the cost of vaccine plus Visit Fee. This Visit Fee is set by Medicaid standards. A copy of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines which establishes the sliding scale fees is available at the Health Department. This Ordinance repeals and replaces Ordinance No. 1-85, 8-85, 1-88, and 4-89, and shall become effective January 1, 1993. ~ma L.
