Public in Attendance: 16 COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCEMENTS 0:03:00 – Nilssen Welcomed Shannen Cartmel who is training for PC Clerk substitute. DIRECTOR UPDATES 0:11:36 – Charnas Circulated memo regarding recommendation to extend adoption date of Critical Area update and recommended that it be submitted to the County Commissioners as an Agenda Request. Gave update on planning manager recruitment. PUBLIC COMMENT (first opportunity) 0:04:47 – 0:09:57 The Chair opened the floor to public comment on topics not related to the agenda items. Comments provided during the noted timeframe included those regarding the a concern that the Planning Commission meetings are not being published in the newspaper; studies on the effect of long-term marijuana production; and one person spoke in favor of utilizing the Brinnon sewer system from the Washington State Park System for businesses in Brinnon. DISCUSSION 0:32:58 – All A discussion on the Pleasant Harbor MPR occurred. Topics included the preparation of a Planning Commission comment letter on the development agreement, kettle preservation, the financial viability of project, water quality, wastewater management, scope reduction.
