MEETING MINUTES

Member Philip Morley called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. in the presence of Members
Ruth Gordon and Frank Gifford. Chair Erin Lundgren, Member Bob Hamlin and Legal Counsel
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney David Alvarez were absent.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Member Gordon moved to approve the Special meeting minutes of September 23, 2015 as
presented. Member Gifford seconded the motion. The motion carried.
CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE DECISION
Claim No.: C-04-15
Claimant: Leo Joseph Boyd, II
Damages: $131.37
Allegation: Personal Property Damage to Landscaping
The Committee reviewed the details of this claim. The claimant alleges that a Jefferson County
dump truck towing heavy equipment was traveling towards Port Hadlock on Paradise Bay Road
when the rain cap on the exhaust pipe caught the overhead lines pulling the lines and breaking
the service pole away from his house. The Jefferson County Public Works Road Department
confirmed the claimant's allegations and recommends the claimant be reimbursed for the repair
and replacement of damaged landscaping. Member Gordon moved to approve payment of the
claim in the amount of $131.37. Member Gifford seconded the motion. The motion carried. The
Secretary will prepare the necessary documents to process payment of this claim.
