RISK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

LEGAL COUNSEL: David Alvarez, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
RECORDER: Leslie Locke, Deputy Clerk of the Board
Chair Erin Lundgren called the meeting to order at 9:50 a.m. in the presence of Members Judi
Morris, Jean Baldwin, and Philip Morley and Legal Counsel David Alvarez.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Member Morris moved to approve the minutes of January 11, 2012 as presented (No Meeting in
February). Member Baldwin seconded the motion. Chair Lundgren did not attend the January
meeting and abstained from voting. A vote was called on the motion. The motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Committee met in Executive Session from 9:51 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. regarding potential
litigation. This exemption is outlined in the Open Public Meetings Act RCW 42.30.110(1)(i).
At the conclusion of the Executive Session the meeting returned to open session with no action
taken on the following claim for damages:

The Committee reviewed the details of this claim and are waiting for a response from the
Department of Community Development. No action was taken by the Committee.

Member Baldwin moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:16 a.m. Member Morley seconded the
motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
