HomeMy WebLinkAboutM02212007RISK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MINUTES February 212007 Present: David Alvarez, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney John Fischbach, County Administrator, Risk Manager Erin Lundgren, Claims Coordinator CLAIMS CLAIMANT: William Snyder CLAIM #: C-01-07 DAMAGES: $64.99 ALLEGATION: Damage to Vehicle Windshield DISCUSSION: Upon reviewing the facts relating to this claim, it is determined that County road maintenance personnel was performing sanding operations in the area where the incident occurred, however, the sanding operation was not performed in a negligent manner by the County employee operating the sanding truck. Thus, the County is not liable for the damages and must deny this claim. DECISION: Deny Claim CLAIMANT: Jacki Stratton CLAIM #: C-02-07 DAMAGES: $457.37 ALLEGATION: Damage to Vehicle Windshield DISCUSSION: Upon reviewing the facts relating to this claim, it is determined that County road maintenance personnel was performing sanding operations in the area where the incident occurred, however, the sanding operation was not performed in a negligent manner by the County employee operating the sanding truck.
