DAMAGES: $2,010.23
ALLEGATION: Damage to Electrical Facilities
DISCUSSION: The facts relating to this claim were reviewed and it is determined that Jefferson County
personnel caused the damages sustained. However, since an independent company
contracted by Puget Sound Energy made the repairs, it is recommended that Jefferson
County pay a reduced amount of $1,454.82 representing $2,010.23 less Puget Sound
Energy's labor and overhead costs.

DISCUSSION: Upon reviewing the facts relating to this claim it is determined that there was probable
cause for the claimant's arrest and that the length or his subsequent incarceration was
reasonable. Thus, this claim is denied.
