ALLEGATION: Wrongful Arrest and Defamation of Character.
DISCUSSION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney reviewed the facts relating to this claim
and recommend that it be denied on the basis that probable cause existed for the arrest of
Donald Regan. Furthermore, any claims of defamation of character by Jefferson County
personnel are barred by the fact that the subpoenaed testimony of Brett Anglin was truthful.
