It was agreed to table taking action on this claim pending further investigation. DECISION: Pending CLAIMANT: Trudy Davis CLAIM #: C-18-04 DAMAGES: $69,788 ALLEGATION: Loss of Personal Property DISCUSSION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney reviewed this claim and found that Jefferson County released the computer equipment to Clallam County on the same date that the raid occurred in March 2002. Because Jefferson County did not improperly hold or store the equipment that is the subject of this claim, it is recommended that the claim be denied. DECISION: Deny claim Risk Management Committee Minutes - October 4, 2004 Page: 2 CLAIMANT: Danny Osmer/Joshua Osmer/Estelle Giangrosso CLAIM #: C-12-04 DAMAGES: Amount to be determined ALLEGATION: False Arrest, False Imprisonment, Assault, Battery, Violation of Civil Rights DISCUSSION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney reviewed this claim. It was agreed that this claim be tendered to the Washington Counties Risk Pool for settlement. DECISION: To be settled by the Washington Counties Risk Pool CLAIMANT: Sandra Morgan/Jerry Bledsoe CLAIM #: C-15-04 DAMAGES: $5,000,000 ALLEGATION: Violation of Constitutional Rights, Violation of Common Law Rights to Privacy, and Extreme Emotional Distress DISCUSSION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney reviewed the above referenced claim which is being settled by the Washington Counties Risk Pool. DECISION: To be settled by the Washington Counties Risk Pool Meeting adjourned.
