Peterson, Associate Planner DATE: May 1, 2018 SUBJECT: May 7, 2018, Status Briefing on Comprehensive Plan Periodic Review and UDC Update STATEMENTOF ISSUE: This briefing will update the Board on the project status of the 2018 Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan Periodic Review and Update. Since the last update for the Board, the Planning Commission has held two public hearings (April 18 in Chimacum and April 19 in Quilcene) and is in the process of deliberating on the comment record and developing recommendations for the Board. Delivery of recommendations to the Board is anticipated during the regular session on May 14. ANALYSIS: This status brief will assist the Board and public with understanding the Comprehensive Plan Periodic Review schedule and process. No action by the Board is required. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact related to the presentation or action. RECOMMENDATION: Receive a briefing on the status of the Comprehensive Plan periodic update.
