J STATE OF WASHINGTON County of Jefferson In the Matter re: Amending Ordinance No. 09-0801-94, Jefferson County Zoning Code, Section 3, Definitions } } } ORDINANCE NO. 14-1024-94 AMENDMENT TO SECTION 3, DEFINITIONS: Replace as paragraph to Subsection 3.10, #4: Accessory Dwelling Unit: A second dwelling unit added to an existing single-family detached dwelling, or in a separate accessory structure on the same lot as the main dwelling, for use as an additional living facility with provisions within the main dwelling unit for cooking and eating. Such a dwelling shall be considered an accessory use to the main dwelling and be clearly subordinate and located in close proximity to the main dwelling. For the purpose of this Ordinance, accessory dwelling units shall be served by the pre-existing water service to the primary unit. In no case shall new water service facilities be constructed to provide water to the Accessory Dwelling Unit. There are no further proposed additions or amendments to the Ordinance.
