Ordinance No. 17 -1002-95
Section 1.00 Removal of Port Ludlow Interim Urban Growth Area Status:
1.10 Effective immediately upon adoption of this ordinance, all provisions of Ordinance No. 01-
0117-95 are repealed, the ordinance becoming null and without any effect.
1.20 Effective immediately upon adoption of this ordinance by the Board of County
Commissioners, the lands identified by Ordinance No. 01-0117-95 as constituting the Port
Ludlow Interim Urban Growth Area shall revert to 'rural' status,
1.30 Effective immediately upon adoption of this ordinance by the Board of County
Commissioners, the 'rural' level of service standards adopted as 'Attachment B' to Ordinance
No. 15-1028-94 shall apply to those lands identified in subsection 2.20 of this ordinance,
1.40 The population allocation of2,500 people for the Port Ludlow ruGA made under
subsection 2.20 of Ordinance No. 01-0117-95 is hereby rescinded.
1.50 All references made to the Port Ludlow IUGA in ordinances, resolutions, or policies adopted
after January 17, 1995 shall be amended to read the Port Ludlow Planned Community, as
appropriate.
Section 2000 Expiration: The provisions of this ordinance shall cease to be effective upon
adoption and implementation by the County of permanent development regulations for the Port
Ludlow area that implement the revised Comprehensive Plan, as required under RCW 36.70A.
Section 3000 Severability: If any section, subsection, or other portion of this ordinance is for
any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such section,
subsection, or portion shall be deemed a separate portion of this ordinance and such holding shall
not affect the validity of remaining portions of this ordinance.
Section 4.00 Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon adoption
by the Board of County Commissioners.
Section 5.00 AdoptiQn: Adopted by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners this 2nd day
of October, 1995.
