SECTION 1 - PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a fee schedule for the Jefferson County Health
Department. This schedule shall apply to all fees required by the Health Department

MEDICALINURSING SERVICES
A) The Health Department Community Health Nursing Fee Schedule be set at the same
amount, to the nearest higher dollar, as the fee schedule currently reimbursable by the
Washington State Department of Social and Health Services for Medicaid clients.
The Health Department will offer fees based on the sliding scale schedule to clients who
are not on Medicaid. No client will be turned away due to inability to pay.
B)
All fees for immunizations not subsidized by the Washington State Department of Health
will be the cost of vaccine plus Visit Fee. This Visit Fee is set by Medicaid standards.
A copy of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines which establishes the sliding scale fees is
available at the Health Department.
SECTION 3 - REPEALER:
Ordinance No. 13-1214-92 is hereby repealed and replaced entirely.
SECTION 4 - SEVERABILITY:
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or figure of this ordinance or its application
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance or the application
to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected.

The ordinance shall become effective upon adoption,
