Claims Coordinator Erin Lundgren was also present. CLAIMS CLAIMANT: Carolyn McAndrew CLAIM #: C-31-01 DAMAGES: $6,000.00+ ALLEGATION: Failure to properly inspect foundation during construction of house. DISCUSSION: The claim referenced above was reviewed by the Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. It was agreed that Jefferson County is not liable for the damages claimed. DECISION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney will recommend to the County Administrator that the claim be denied. CLAIMANT: Bradley E. Hoover CLAIM #: C-30-01 DAMAGES: $3,674.15 ALLEGATION: Reimbursement of expenses for having to go through short plat process. DISCUSSION: The claim referenced above was reviewed by the Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. It was agreed to table action on this claim pending further investigation. DECISION: Pending Risk Management Committee Minutes - January 9, 2002 Page: 2 CLAIMANT: Emily Anne Gerke CLAIM #: C-33-01 DAMAGES: $1,974.00 ALLEGATION: Fainted, fell and hit head on floor at Health Department after receiving a shot. DISCUSSION: The claim referenced above was reviewed by the Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. Risk Manager David Goldsmith suggested settling the claim for the amount requested. Deputy Prosecutor David Alvarez agreed. DECISION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney will recommend to the County Administrator that the claim be paid. The Risk Manager and Prosecuting Attorney discussed the status of the following claims. All are still pending. Claimant Prospect View, Inc.
