CLAIMANT: Joseph Tremblay

DAMAGES: To be determined
ALLEGATION: False Arrest/False Imprisonment/Civil Rights Violation
DETAILS: This claim will be tendered to the Washington Counties Risk Pool for negotiation of an
amount not to exceed $5,000.
RECOMMENDATION: Pending
CLAIMANT: Mike Belenski
CLAIM#: C-06-02
DAMAGES: $50,000 +
ALLEGATION: Obstruction of Justice/Interfering with Ability to Obtain Due Process
DETAILS: Based on advice from retained outside Counsel this claim does not disclose any apparent basis
for liability on behalf of Jefferson County or its employees.
RECOMMENDATION: Take no further action
CLAIMANT: Winton C. Cleary, W.W.W. Enterprises
CLAIM#: C-05-02
DAMAGES: To be determined
ALLEGATION: Unequal and Arbitrary Treatment by the Department of Community Development
DETAILS: The County finds that this claim is based on comparing"apples to oranges."While the work
WWW Enterprises performed on W. Patison Street was undertaken with respect to the
Risk Management Committee Minutes -June 7, 2002 - 8:30 a.m. Page 2
construction and eventual year-round occupancy of the Shold Business Park and reflected
what was required by County ordinance(s) for commercial construction at that time, no
enclosed structure has been built or proposed for construction on the east side of Rhody Drive
and any business conducted there is seasonal in nature.
RECOMMENDATION: Deny claim
