CLAIM
CLAIMANT: Tina Pelletier
CLAIM#: C-11-02
DAMAGES: $236.96
ALLEGATION: Damage to Passenger Side Window of Vehicle
DETAILS: Payment of the claim was recommended on the basis that the Public Works Road Crew was
performing roadside vegetation maintenance in the area where the incident occurred and it is
presumable that a rock thrown from the brush cutting machine caused the damage to the
claimant's vehicle window.
RECOMMENDATION: Pay Claim
CLAIMANT: Qwest
CLAIM#: C-12-02
DAMAGES: $173.46
ALLEGATION: Damage to Pedestal/Closure/AP Box
DETAILS: Denial of the claim was recommended on the basis that there was no negligence on the part of
the Public Works road crew while performing brush cutting operations. It is the responsibility
of the claimant to visually mark their closures and pedestals to prevent damage to their
communication facilities.
RECOMMENDATION: Deny Claim
