Claims Coordinator Erin Lundgren was also present. CLAIMS CLAIMANT: Kelle Riley CLAIM#: C-17-01 DAMAGES: $717.27 ALLEGATION: Vehicle Damage DISCUSSION: Risk Manager David Goldsmith and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney David Alvarez reviewed the details of the claim for damages referenced above. Based on the facts of the claim, the damages sustained most likely resulted from rocks/asphalt chips coming off the truck, rather than from the road surface which would constitute a"road hazard". DECISION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecutor will recommend to the County Administrator that the claim be paid. CLAIMANT: Susan L. Stratton CLAIM#: C-21-01 DAMAGES: $1,597.88 ALLEGATION: Vehicle Damage DISCUSSION: Risk Manager David Goldsmith and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney David Alvarez reviewed the details of the claim for damages referenced above. Based on the facts of the claim, Jefferson County is not liable for the damages sustained. DECISION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecutor will recommend to the County Administrator that the claim be denied. Meeting adjourned.
