Deputy Prosecutor David Alvarez and Risk Manager David Goldsmith reviewed the following claims for damages.
Claims Coordinator Erin Lundgren was also present.
CLAIMS
CLAIMANT: Roland & Shonda Kline
CLAIM#: C-32-01
DAMAGES: $147.64
ALLEGATION: Sustained flat tire while driving on County road.
DISCUSSION: The claim referenced above was reviewed by the Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting
Attorney. It was agreed that the claim has no merit. No basis or evidence was provided to
indicate Jefferson County's liability. Furthermore, Jefferson County is not responsible for
unforeseen incidents which occur on its roadways.
DECISION: The Risk Manager and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney will recommend to the County
Administrator that the claim be denied.
