Assistant Claims Coordinator Leslie Locke was also present. CLAIMS CLAIMANT: Daniel D. Zerbe CLAIM#: C-21-00 DAMAGES: $5,000.00 ALLEGATION: Loss of Freedom & Employment DISCUSSION: Risk Manager David Goldsmith explained that the Court, on October 13, 1997 found probable cause to hold Mr. Zerbe on the underlying charge. The Court imposed bail and did not release Mr. Zerbe on his own recognizance. Mr. Zerbe did not satisfy the Court imposed bail of$5,000 resulting in his retention in the Jefferson County jail pending trial. There is no basis for this claim. DECISION: The Risk Manager and Prosecuting Attorney will recommend to the County Administrator that the claim be denied. Meeting adjourned.
