MINUTES
November 11, 1999
Prosecuting Attorney Judie Dalzell and Risk Manager David Goldsmith met to discuss the following
claim for damages. Claims Coordinator Erin Lundgren was also present.
CLAIMS
CLAIMANT: Elaine Thornberg
CLAIM NO: #C-26-99
DAMAGES: $23,024.54
ALLEGATION: Subdivision Costs
DISCUSSION: Risk Manager David Goldsmith reviewed the claim submitted. He stated that the
claimant is requesting reimbursement for costs incurred as a result of the County
Permit Center erring in the process of a shortplat application. The Risk Manager
and Prosecuting Attorney agreed that the County is liable for the damages claimed.
DECISION: The Risk Manager and Prosecuting Attorney will recommend to the Board of
County Commissioners that the claim be paid.
