JEFFERSON COUNTY
STATE OF WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTING AT -LARGE }
MEMBERS TO SERVE ON THE PUBLIC } RESOLUTION NO. 20-18
INFRASTRUCTURE FUND (PIF) BOARD }
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.29.250 of the Jefferson County Code (JCC), the Jefferson
County Board of Commissioners shall signify final approval and appointment of the members of the Public
Infrastructure Fund (PIF) Board by resolution, which shall consist of no more than seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.29.250 JCC, the Jefferson County Public Utility District #1, the
City of Port Townsend, the Port of Port Townsend, and Jefferson County shall appoint one elected official
or a designee to serve on the PIF Board as their representative; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.29.250 JCC, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
shall appoint one at large representative from each Commissioner district; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners, to ensure smooth transitions of the PIF
Board's membership, wishes to appoint the three district at -large representatives to initial terms with
staggered durations of two, three and four years, with subsequent terms for all district at -large positions to
be four years in duration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners, that
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners hereby appoints the following at -large members to
district representative positions on the Public Infrastructure Fund Board with initial terms as
follows:
Position Name, Location Term
District #1: Joseph Johnson, Port Townsend June 1, 2018 — May 31, 2020
District #2: Gary Rowe, Nordland June 1, 2018 — May 31, 2021
District #3: James Munn, Quilcene June 1, 2018 — May 31, 2022
2. Subsequent terms of all district at -large positions of the Public Infrastructure Fund Board shall be
four years in duration.
